Darren’s Sycamore Lake Perch Bonanza
The latest issue of Coarse And Match Fishing includes a made for TV programme in which Garbolino and England ace Darren Cox didn’t quite catch what he bargained for.
Darren had set up on Sycamore Lake at White Acres Fishery in Cornwall to show how to catch a bag of quality tench.
Instead he found himself in front of a huge shoal of big perch that took a liking to his pole and chopped worm approach – and he ended up catching more than 50 of them to over 3lb.
