decent big bream waters?

hi all,
i’m looking to do some big lake bream fishing.
does anyone have any recommendations.
i live in the arse end of nowhere ( oldham lancs )
but i don’t mind travelling for 2 – 2 1/2 hours.

Foulridge or Watergrove, both fairly local. Loads of 6/8lb’ers coming out of both

Pennington Flash, Leigh

Pennington Flash Country Park is a 200 hectares (494 acres) country park located between Lowton and Leigh in Greater Manchester, England.

all those venues mentioned dont come anywhere near walhamstow res if you want proper big bream just ask fred davis im sure he will post some quality photos to back up my statement/????

Forget about elton res in that list. All the bream got took to another water in bolton that united utilities have called Rumworth res. Members only water. As far i am aware it has still not been restocked

Watermead, Furzton, Caldecote, Lowther lake, Hermitage, Coombe Abbey all a good distance, I would think about moving ~think

i think after looking at the website coombe abbey seems very good, does anyone off here go on there through the week and if so does it get really busy or not too bad?

I think you’ll find Coombe is un fishable due to weed, i know the Ben Randle memorial which is normally at coombe, was on Packington this year. Nigal Harrhy will clarify, as he normally fishes the big Commbe matches.

Coombe is unfishable due to the weed,definately not worth a 2hr drive & then a 1&1/4 mile walk to pegs~sick .
