i think its an age thing ~think in times past couldnt wait for winter league choose what the weather threw up now i get cold easy ~naughty + the old speccy bobs up + down at the thin end when im dithering this winter is the first one i havent fished a league for about 15yr + up to now i havent missed it one bit ~sick

I’m out and I like to think its because I like my sport. Bad weather etc is just another hurdle to get over.

i actually went pleasure fishing today!!!! the best matches on our circuit are always at this time of the year and i wouldnt have it any other way!!!!

Lack of wind chill may be only saviour ~think .

Was hoping bit of flow would keep river free of ice but they have dropped it for maintainance.Old river Ancholme may need more than our heavy duty “g” clamp to clear ice hence hoping my two teenagers draw main river which was ice free today and is deeper.
