Diawa Interlastic Top Kits

Has anybody had problems with these new kits regarding damaging the elastic and do you think they work properly?

I only use the top hole, I don’t see any gain or benefit for using them any other way, no matter how they are being sold/promoted

As for the bushes, I do agree that they can cause damage, I think the quality of the PTFE leaves something to be desired, I contacted trevor jeans and got some of his side pulla bushes, they are so sweet and smooth, made a lot of difference

Hi, just started using them, just through top hole, so far so good work perfect for me,just enough force to get fish into netting range, and then a bit of extra pull to get em in net.

I think you’ll find the new design is to get around Preston’s patent of the single hole pulla. In theory the 2 hole system does work but in my mind and many others not as well as using just the single hole.

I wonder if Daiwas interlastic topkits are compatible with their lock and load bushes and hydro catapults ? :rolleyes:

Interelastics work ok for me but shooter has a point they work just aswell run through the top ptfe bush, look at the latest Will Raison online dvd he is using white hydro and only using the top bush on the inter kit,.

I used just the top hole and had the elastic fray on one kit so I made my own bushes and swapped all of them. Works like a dream now.

my tip; use the bottom one and then when it needs a bit snipping off thread it through the upper one. 🙂
