  Bloke on peg 1 at Collingham had 20 Barbel for 56 kilo. Most likely individual winner, but there’s apparently a 100lb bream weight from Crankley Point

  Just spoken to Steve Collett – asked him how come he was fishing for Farnborough!!!
  
  He lost two on a heavy feeder rod and switched to speci style, 2lb test curve rod, and had 20. All on pellet of course. Chuffed to bits for him.

  Congrats Mr Collett, and of course to Starlets. What a mighty river team they fielded, and seeing Bicko in the line up made me smile. Not a bad trump card for a trent match!
  
  Hard luck to the Image lads who so nearly sprang a Suvvern surprise. Dave Grimsby and Si Colclough showed their Wickford class I see, and Clarkie did well off yet another crap Trent draw…but what happened to Chrissie V?
