TF_scrubbaCheers for that.
Think most are praying for an easy walk and a comfortable peg. The fishing itself seems to be second in most peoples thoughts.
Up until a couple of weeks ago I was not sure whether I would bother, due to the cost of travelling etc, the walks and pegs were putting me off as well.
However its the Division 1 national and I feel very lucky to fish in such match. This year will be my forth and its a great day the atmosphere at the draw is buzzing. Just hope the match is good for everyone and there are no major mishaps.
Good luck to everyone competing and tight lines for us all. 🙂 🙂

TF_orexinaDon’t forget to take some pinkies. Not everyone will be on the bream. Pray for some rain to put some colour in the water. Some sections have barbwire fences to climb over so make sure your kit is easy to unpack. Some people will have a good day as there are some good chub and bream pegs on the river. The roach may take an interest in caster and hemp with a bit of luck.
Good luck to everybody fishing, have a good day. 🙂 -

AnonymousI’m fishing it and am just putting the finishing touches to my gear……
Long handled scythe, spade, rope, wheelbarrow, high energy drinks, space blanket, inflatable life belt, distress flares, and torch for flashing SOS signals to passing aircraft. I might even take a bit of fishing gear on the off chance that I get to my peg and have it ready before the all out!!!!

TF_chaveyParticipantIts ok having all that stuff just in case? But I reckon the most important thing is a West country phrase Book, just in case you get lost on the way to your peg and have to ask one of the localsfor directions! 😀
