I’m currently in the process of replacing the laccy in a few top kits and I’m in a quandry re the above elastics. I have used D5 for a while now, mainly for F1’s and bagging silvers but..

I’m looking a more robust laccy for using with a pulla and from what I’ve read 9H sounds ideal. Basically I’m wondering if those of you who have used both can help with the pro’s & cons of each. 🙂

        Cheers

If it’s for bagging quality silvers, I’d stick with D5, as the 9H is VERY stretchy IMO, but it might be OK for skimmers, as you’d be less likely to pull the hooks out.

Check out the Pink Hydro – seems pretty well suited to quality silver fishing.

Preston 9h is sound, nice and smooth for skimmers and if used with a puller is good for f1’s and small carp!, very robust laccy, it is pretty stretchy but not as bad as the chewing gum light garbo or vespe!!! if you pull a yard on the puller end you can get good control for netting.
