Drayton Reservoir

Might be fishing Drayton this week, any one got any top tips/tricks as I’ve never fished it before and any help would be appreciated!

Not the sort of fishing I normally do but did go couple of times ’bout a month ago. Fished the dam wall. Method worked well with red or white boilie. Also caught on a pellet waggler set about 3′ deep with 8ml banded feeding 3-4 8ml pellets every 20/30 secs. I didnt fish a bagging waggler but believe that works well too. Hope info of use.

fished it last month for the first time too , used 8lb line and 13ft carbonactive pellet wag rod , had carp to 17lb all between 2ft and 6ft deep constantly feed pellets we had carp all day . the carp boys were there casting to oblivion and asleep behind their rods lol .the fish responded to feed dog biscuit seemed to work for some of the lads that were with us but pellet was better for me if its warm as forcast just fish up in the water , hope this helps .

You will catch on any method theres 4000 big carp in there, big wagglers and method seem to outscore pole fishing.

the boards 34 a to h.
the dam 35 to 37
method works well
and bomb and pellet
fished peg 35 last month and had carp to 19lb
