its patchy at the moment you are either on the fish or not. Start on straight lead on the waggler line then the waggler but if they are not there (which is likely) do not overlook the method at range and start on dead reds cos if the carp are not there the bream might be.Take a platform if you have one as its dead shallow at landing net range and the carp are mental and plenty over 10lb. I might be going later in week so will let you know

As the above post said the lake is is half empty. At least 40 meters from the permanent pegs. You will need a platform to wade out as it is very shallow.I dont think the reputation of pegs will make much difference.I walked round their friday, their was 15 pleasure anglers all a row.The anglers that were catching regular were those using the pva bag or feeding regulary with the catty. The ones catching were also using big boiles or big pellets and big lumps of meat. The ones fishing with a open end feeder with corn as bait caught skimmers and bream.

I fished the BW Champs there few weeks back, I drew peg 7. I expected 4 carp would win my section; I ended up with 3 carp and a few skimmers and won the section. Peg 21 (I think?) was the best weight on that side, with 50lb. Those who caught had them long, on both the method and the bag. This said, this was about 5 weeks ago and the water has since dropped alot more.

Hope this is of some help.

Fished peg20 yesterday, had two carp on the waggler, fished a 10g(what i had set up) with8mm pellets, never had anything on the straight lead. You’ll need to wade out to get nets in as the fish i returned were still beached at 4m from the waters edge. The only other fish i saw caught were from peg10ish, he had his on the method, couldn’t see what he was using as hookbait tho’
