        dose any one know the difference between middy origional match 3-4green
        &

          mak,if its the one i’m thinking of (about a fiver a spool),i was told a few years ago by a middy rep. that it is the same stuff.thanks. andy.

            The original 3-4 is solid, whereas the 1-5 is hollow.

            I’ve used both and they are very good for canals catching small fish. However, i now use middy solids as they are not as heavy.

              middy used to do a 1-5 solid.was told it was the same as the 3-4 but 3 quid a spool dearer.aint seen any about for ages though.

                i’ve got both and they’re different ,the shock core is hollow and the 3-4 is solid. the shock core stretches forever if you hook a bonus fish, you can sometimes find yourself landing them on your top 5.
