TF_fish_silverDave are you sure Will was 2nd..
”Dear friends,
I was there as Alan Scotthorne won the individual title at the European Championship and the Portuguese team won the teams title.
It was a fantastic duel between Alan and the Italian Sorti, although at the end it was the Spanish Perez who almost took the lead and threatened Alan’s title.
Thrilling match! Decided at the very end by half a pound between Alan and Perez!Best regards,
Ricardo”

Average-AlParticipantI have recently bought the fox dacron connectors and imo they are the dogs gonads.

TF_Snooty FoxSurely the Fox Dacrons are not stiff enough to do the job properly ~think
The whole idea is for a dacron connector to stick directly out of your pole and not ‘dangle’

TF_AKMEGAJParticipantWales had a good result too coming 5th (5th both days too) behind Portugal, England, Italy and Spain. The best of the rest! Follows up a very creditable 6th place in the recent World Champs in Spain.

cathalParticipantA big well done to both Teams. Its a pity that the Irish Federation cant take note of how a settled team preform. Before the team came home from Spain they had decided to try and change the team and manager for next year.
