i am looking for two good feeder rods for next years irish festivals as they are going to become a fixture in my angling.
i have looked at king feeders in 13 and 14ft, some say very heavy?
dutchmasters in 12.8 and 14ft and also the hardy marksman extremes in 12 and 13ft but they will be top side of £600 for the pair
i am gonna get two and then reels either black magic 650fd or pxr power5000 and load with a good recommended braid.
a good guy has told me he used a speed master 13ft heavy for his distance work, my only worry was a the tips as my old super ultra went through loads with braid.

i would love people to pass on opinions preferably from use and experience…….

99.9999999% of feeder work in Ireland is done this side of 60 turns, so forget all the shite you hear about distance fishing, a normal 12′ rod will cover you for everything. What festivals are you planning to fish?
If you want advice on a distance rod for Ireland, the 12′ Marksman extreme is very good. The new Ultima feeder braid is also excellent, I have used it for a while now with no problems.

king feeders with the black magic reels, excellent combo, dont find mine too heavy but everyone is different, wont break the bank either for full two rod set up,braid i would go with ultima.
