Fishing goals for 2012

  What are your goals or objectives for 2012, mine are to take up paste fishing, and have a real good go at it, and im going to break the ton on a 5hr match, something ive never managed.

  Mines to beat Chris ‘the hatman’ Kendal, he always seems to just edge me out. 🙁

  I need to get back on the bank after the shoulder injury that kept me away from the sport seems to have righted itself! 😀
  
  Surprising amount of stuff lost to mice during my time away from the bank though 😡
  
  Good job I’m too busy, workwise, to go at the moment.

  mines more or less same as yours matey,,
  started paste fishing last year, liked it, so ill be doing more of it,, had a few near misses on the ton scetch,, nearest being 97lb 4oz on pool 1 at glebe !!!! :rolleyes:

  dont mind getting beat by him craig cos he’s a class act,,, but my goal would be to draw next to him and not let him get inside my head !!! :rolleyes: :rolleyes: 😀
  every time ive drawn next to him he’s had me setting 15 topkits up and trying every method under the sun !!!! 😮 😮 😉

  mine is to start fishing venues that aint just pole venues, love fishig the pole but wud be nice to use my rods more often

  I had a 97lb 12oz 2 years ago at Lindholme, how close is that ! just one more fish, best weight in 2011 was 77lb.

  on the day i wasnt to bothered i didnt get the ton,, i was over the moon cos id just turned over 2 class acts either side of me,very good anglers indeed
  , good performance on my part,, i was over the moon,, the ton really would have been the icing on the cake in that match !!! 🙂

  Target is a Top ten in a Whiteacres festival for me (best Ive had is 17th) – ideally the Preston. Will also be trying to get in the Fish O/ Maver match this / Parkdean finals and if i get through do better than before….
  
  All a big ask but u gotta try!
  
  Oh and lose 2 stone – may be biggest challenge!

  to try and put a bit more thought into matches,had a lot of near misses last year with a fair few 2nds that when looking back should have been wins.trying to make a certain method work and wasting too much time before switching and then just falling .short

  My main target for 2012 is to turn up at matches with all my kit, in the past I’ve forgot bait, nets, glasses,flask, rollers even holdall a couple of times.

  My aims for 2012..
  Toafter returning to match fishing last year from 8 years carping, I’d like to get back to the standard I was fishing at before,
  To fish to my best in the supercup.
  And hopefully get myself noticed by a team
