At a recent match, an angler had a flouro bobbin attached to the end of his keepnet by a length of nylon
I was told he would fish close to the sight bobbin (end of his net) as un-caught fish would congregate around the base of a keepnet with fish in it.
        Particularly stillwater barbel.

Qu. 1./ Specifically with regard to stillwater commercials what are your views/experiences of this ?
Qu. 2./ When on a venue such as Tunnel Barn Farm how would you position and peg out your 2 or 3 nets,
to optimise your chances when aiming to catch/fish close-in.

        Thanks in advance.

I dont think you need to attach a flouro bobbin and i think fish too close to your net your bound to hook it and that will ruin your swim

I fish one water where it is common to catch carp underneath your keepnets. Nets are position in front of you on box legs or a bar but then on the bottom ring of the net attattach a bunjee which you then attach to your rear box legs or something else on the bank, basically you want your net to not hang down the bottom of the nearside ledge. Then you fish on top 2 between the nets eitherside of you. simples
Also works on the canal for perch.
One of our team looked down into the water last weekend on the Thames in Oxford and there were 2 3lb+ perch sat there under his net 😮
