TF_Waveney OneNathan favourite with the bookies, couldn’t argue with that.
The odds are a little short though and I like Tim Nash at 14/1. OK, not an out and out commie angler, but a very good adaptable angler who fishes the R Yare often enough.

Good call Nathan………Your the favourite because a)your a great angler.b)You know the place well.c)You won the Champions of champions.d)You like a bloody good drink..lol.
I really mean this mate….Hope you have fair draw and you dont go to mad at the bar in the evening.Keep your head clear for the match….and we will have a good drink after the match…win..lose..or draw.
I am 90% sure of being there, and am really looking forward to meeting all “the faces” at the venue.
With regard to your question…..You aint a 7/1 chance mate…6/1 is about right…but give me a little time, and i might just get back to you with an offer you cant refuse….The Godfather..lol. 😎 😎 😎 -

TF_drawbag1967We could always convince Betfair to open a book and get Nathans drink spiked on Friday night, and lay him for everything we’ve got.

AnonymousNo disespect to Nathan or any of the other anglers in the final but Andy May and Keiron Rich know the venue like the back of there hands and have won countless opens on the venue over several years. Given an qual draw. There will only be one of two anglers that would win the final simply because of experience on the venue. However, the draw will give some anglers more chance of winning than others. If Andy and Keiron are not drawn in a good area/pegs. Then they will struggle just like every other angler in the final if drawn away from the fish. Every angler has a chance of winning. There are no bad anglers in the final of fisho. All are capable of winning given a good draw and making the right choices and changes on the day. Its the nature of our sport. To have Nathan as favorate is rediculess. Good angler with some winning experience in the final might help. However, local knowledge and experience of the venue plus being top anglers in there own right must make then both strong favorates before the draw!
