Lee Edwards has turned into a proper match angler.
I recall his early days in the Welsh set-up and he has really committed (and all the sacrifices that go with that) since then so hats off to him.
It’s just a shame for the sport that you don’t get the financial rewards for that kind of commitment…

I agree, Lee’s a fantastic angler and has a brilliant attitude. Financially, the sport is a waste of time. I can’t think of another sport where representing your country actually costs more money than not doing so…?

It would be interesting to hear from Lee about how he feels about that.
He’s pretty much got into the top tier of match fishing IMO – has it been worth it?
