If you use a tin opener on the roof, it shut fit lovely…………….!
My mate has a smaller car than a KA and with the back seats down, he fits seat box, bag, net bag and pole holdall in.
The only differance would be the the strange slope on the KA which will chop a bit of the space off i should imagine?
You dont see many of them when you go fishing though do you?

Ive never seen another angler with a KA thats why im asking, Ive made the mistake before and bought a car you can barely get your tackle in, I bought a Daewoo Leganza, it were like a sherman tank with leather seats ! seriously though it was a saloon with 60/40 split rear seats I thought it would be ok but you needed to be a contortionist to fit your tackle in !!!! never again.

I used to use a Ford Ka and got in it :- Milo 1000 seatbox, large carryall, stink bag, bait bag, 12 tube holdall, 4 rod sleeve, Preston shuttle and clothing etc. If you slide the front passenger seat forward, fold down the back seats then wind the front seat all the way back its easy. Seatbox on the right against the drivers seat, carryall behind it, stink bag, bait bag and clothing on left. Then put the shuttle on top, slide holdall down onto front seat and rod sleeve goes next to it – All done, just don’t crash it as they’ll never get you out. 😮
I now have a Daewoo Matiz and get it all in that, I also need the seat as far back as it will go as I’m over 6′ tall.

I had a KA courtesy car when my car was in for repair a few years back and I got everything in without a problem.

Just like CraigM says just wind the seat forward as far as it will go (I think I did it forward) and your holdall slides down to the windscreen and fits nicely.

This was in winter when I was carrying all my River gear so there was a fair amount of kit.

Don’t agree to pick anyone up though! 🙂

Ant don’t break too hard either lol

however do check for rust as they are notorious for rusting up, check wheel arches sills and petrol cap are as well as under the bonnet

Fred I had a look at the car last night its a rot box, as you mention around the petrol cap and front wheel arch there was loads of rust theres plenty of cheap cars to look at.
