TF_One Out of the FrameA few years back someone posted a similar thread and I mentioned hooking a condom and thinking that it could be a big eel or framing chub before it broke surface much to my dismay and embarrassment 😮
Someone else on the thread then said that they had hooked a sanitary towel to which one wag asked if he’d caught it, “Dragging bottom?”
The original poster replied, “No. I was just off!”
pmsl!

TF_NathanWatsonCaught a rod and a reel, in tip eye, with fish on, landed fish on found rod and put it back, cost me winning match! Gave rod and reel to a kid there. Also caught a full sized bin, both at Hayfield!

TF_One Out of the FrameLaughing in the face of adversity: I fished a Winter League and after the match, was informed that an angler had died. One of my team turned up as we were discussing it and said, “I’m not surprised. If I’d have drawn that peg I’d have died. It’s crap!”

TF_morris85Whilst fishing at lindholme with my 2 jayesh hooked a big carp on light elastic( before pulled kits) it took me all over the lake with 6 sections in the air decided,I decided to stand on my box . So I began to climb and slipped of my box letting go of my pole fell on 3of my top kits . I then stood up to see my top 6 going out in to the lake I then stripped naked jumped in the lake, retreving my top kit and as I turned around to swim back not knowing how far I had swam,(about 17meters) only to make my way back to the bank and getting to the half way point began to sink myself after what seemed for ever got back and out on the bank and landed the fish and which to this day is my pb at 18 pound

TF_shanieboywas fishing a match on polly at whiteacres some years back and the guy on the next peg was fishing the long pole over to one of the islands, he hooked a carp which snagged him up on the far bank reeds and as he tried to free the rig his pole came apart at about the 11mtr section and with the elastic still being stretched proceeded to pull all 11mtrs or so of his pole over to the island!! Swearing and cursing he stripped off and swam over, got hold of his pole and swam back again, the problem was his rig was still snagged up, so now he had even more elastic stretched across the lake and as he finally got back onto dry land the pole came apart again leaving him with just one section in his hand, the rest flying back over to the far bank again!!! so so funny 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

TF_stevieda number of years ago, on a club match, we had got off the coach, said it was long ago, we were walking through a field of cows when one observant wag pointed out the the surrounding cows “did not have any tits”.
on realizing that we were in a field of bulls, the march to the rivers edge became quicker and quicker.
rest in peace Boss yous are surely missed.
