seen one for sale, £1500 ono what do you lads reckon? 17m, six power tops, in good condition.
are they a strong pole? what are they like when you hook a lump shallow which is what i do a fair bit of in the summer.

dont want to be c***ing it every time i hook a fish .

        your thoughts?~think

Super stiff pole, but in my opinion too stiff and this is why they get so many breakages. I had mine for only a few weeks and smashed sections and got rid as i’d lost all confidence in it. If you want a flag ship pole capable of lump bashing you want a Daiwa Pro or Pro X mate.

My no5’s exploded when fishing shallow – 3 times. I sold it and now have a Browning Z9 and had no problems in 12months.

i brought one when they where first launched and have only ever broke 0ne section on a fish that was a number 7 just snapped clean the first time i used it. a fault with the section replaced within a week since then i have never had any problems with it. i can honestly say its the best pole i have ever had . and wouldent swap it for anythin else. it will last me for many more years to come best pole out there
