Hi mate,

it didnt fish well for me. I didnt draw well at all.

drew peg 13 on Curlew with no wind blowing in!

26lb 8oz was all i had to show for 5 hours and 20lb of that came in the first hour short!

Hopefully next year.

Hi galps i was the guy on curlew 12 opposite.thought you would have had more.your fish looked a bigger stamp than mine m8. my 20lb consisted of mostly small pasties.and i do mean small.and even they wouldnt settle and feed proper against those boards.same as u next year lol

Top 15 weights to qualify?? Not very fair really, if you don’t draw on skylark or partridge. I felt that by running it like this, it took alot away from angling ability and made the draw bag all the more important.

There were 5 lakes used, so why couldn’t it have been something like 3 from each lake? (for example). This surely is a much fairer way.

There have been plenty of match winning weights coming of Curlew in past few weeks, on it`s day it can better and compete with Partridge and Skylark. It`s down to the draw and form of the lakes at the time infortunately

Leading up to the event Curlew and Kestrel had been the most consistent lakes on the complex!

christ knows why they changed it from section winners qualifying to the top 15 weights !!!
i would say that though, cos id have qualified from the tunnel barn 1 ! :rolleyes:
heard the woodlands one was a pretty similar story,, flyers and no hopers,
evryones saying it,, got a funny feeling they’ll revert back to sections again next year !!
good luck to the finalists though !
