        Garbolino Lindholme Individual Winter League 2011 – 2012

        Starts Sunday 23rd October 2011. This really is one of the best individual leagues going and runs as part of the normal opens, on a section points basis. There are 11 matches held every other Sunday, you will count your six best results and drop the other five. Entry is £50, plus £4 on every match. If a minimum of 40 anglers fish, which is looking highly likely, 1st place gets £1,000 and a Garbolino pole, 2nd £800 etc. Paying the top 8 anglers but may pay more depending how many enter. No need to book on, just turn up on the 23rd, 9am draw.

              Why are there no top leagues like this available in the mancchester/cheshire area! Lots of good fisheries but no decent leagues from what i have come across unless anyone knows otherwise?

                  Sections will comprise of non-registered and registered anglers alike in each match. But to be honest most who fish the opens join the league anyway so this has worked very well in past years. Previous years have seen sections of 9-10 but I’m thinking of reducing this to 6 or 7 because it is a shorter league this year, at the peggiest time of year.

                      Thanks fisky for posting this for me .
                      Just too clarify that this year anyone not joining the winter league will not pay the extra £4 a day into the league final payout has previous winter leagues ,they will only pay my normal open matches prices .
                      We have had alot of angler for the last 2 season mainly coplaining that they dont come and fish the opens because they are contributing towards the league payout so this is why we have altered it this year .
                      The weekly payouts will be sections and top 3 anglers overhaul and the winter league final results will be on section results .
