A friend of mine is thinking of selling his Browning Z9 17.5m “Pro” package which may have a couple of extra 4’s, 5’s & 6’s alongside the original package including holdall.

Any interest in a package like this & how much would it be worth? Be serious please as he is not going to let it go for silly low money, but will most probably accept a really sensible offer considering the other spare sections.

Darren what condition is it in, any breaks preffessional repairs etc how many top kits? if in really good condition ” mint ” around £1100 is the going rate, if not it will be less, let me know what the condition is like mate as I have over 70 anglers who fish the lpr so he will get a reasobnable offer, I might be interested myself depending on condition.

          condition is key

Hi Fred, he has made no mention of any repairs or breaks other than he bought a complete new 13m section that he cracked due to roller bounce out. The amount of top kits is what was provided with the package (10+1 I think). This guy looks after his gear so I would think it would be safe to say that a quick wipe down and it will be like new (but I haven’t had chance to inspect it myself as yet as he asked me to see if there was interest out there first, but I trust this bloke completely).

I think there will be quite a bit of interest however whether it will continue to hold it’s price now the z12 has been released is to be seen, however age of the pole and condition is key.
I don’t know whether the pro package is any advantage now the angling trust have slapped on a 16 mtre limit.
