TF_joffmiesterhi mate yet again i had my pants pulled down yesterday ~sick ~sick
although i did draw the foundation lake which hadn’t been fished the day before and a lot of good anglers failed to catch too much
from what i heard and saw
feeder a cross to the boards caster and hemp plugged with micro’s on most of the lakes at the glebe 5m line and corn did some damage end pegs of the lakes seamed to be good margin pegs and took a lot of the money couldn’t say if anyone caught shallow as the wind was bad but i’m sure someone will say
they are putting G/B in the margins and i think both the big weights on day one and two were caught on worm on the hook a large piece ~sick ~sick its not my cup of tea but i do love it up there and i think if you keep it simple your be alright but end pegs are a massive advantage like most waters or spare pegs uglies lake be prepared i heard there was carbon floating all a round the lake ~sick ~sick ~sick ~sick -

TF_RossnWas just talking to Roy, there were 10 x 100 lb weights on Saturday and 18 x 100 lb weights yesterday, so fishing crap as usual.
Roy was saying that the fish are as fat as pigs as they wait to spawn…that would just be our luck !!
He said that all methods were working. Lots of fish caught on the feeder and lots down the edge later in the matches.
He said that walking round at the weekend he saw quite a few people with 2 or 3 trays of corn. Given the choice of 3 trays of corn or 6 pints of casters he’d take the casters at the moment !!. Some of the big weights were taken on worm over hemp / caster.

TF_joffmiesterits the same old!! you have to be caught doing it ~think ~think it can’t be hard to spot ~think ~think
rules are rules and a lot of them up the glebe are commonsense why anglers feel the need to bend them i’l never know
lots of carbon was broke yesterday and it wasn’t down to the wind balanced tackle anglers are gearing up too much and trying to land them too quick
rob wootton didn’t brake any tackle ~think ~think ~think and he had some lumps -

TF_kevrusselliI thought it fished ok even though i didnt get in frame on either day. drew with mostly other members on uglies 48 on saturday, 12 bites, 10 fish on a short pole on pellet or maggot, didnt set the feeder up, perhaps a mistake, weighed 81lbs, 4th in lake.
drew 82 on pool 5 on sunday, too windy to do the feeder across well, widest bit on the whole of glebe, had a frustrating first two hours on feeder at 20m caught 4 small carps but lost loads even on a soft 9′ rod. then switched to the corn at 4m had 15 carp for 60 lbs, could have used a stick float it was towing that hard ! only five weighed i was 4th. biggest fish i had was on uglies, 17lbs, give or take a few ounces, hooked in its side. no probs on doubled 8, used it all weekend, hydros coming out my other kits.
will post on other site our plans for this weekends match -
