I’m off to the Glebe, for my yearly visit, this thursday. I’d really appreciate any info. regarding pegs & tactics.
        Regards Peter.

Hi Peter I fished it just over a week ago on peg 1.
There were lots of cruisers around and I caught shallow on the pole, down the edge and on pellet wag too. The general tactics seem to be to feeder to the far bank, most pegs have cut outs in the weed over there and if you can drop a feeder in there consistently they will turn up. Groundbait feeder with dead reds on the hook seems to do the damage. JPZ pellets definately work as well as hair rigged pellets corn or small boiles.
Down the edge I used corn, they seem to love it. Paste too works and can give you huge weights when they come onto it.
So you pays your money and takes your choice!! As ever I would advise anyone to fish to their strengths so do what you feel most confidence with but a good feeder angler on the right peg will probably win unless a big shallow or margin weight is thrown up.

Jus come back from 2 days fishing there and Lake 1 was hard ! the small lakes are fishing very though.

On Pool 1 there are margin fish to be caught and odd shallow fish but corn @ 5m is not working at all. Fishing expanders over pellet seems to be doing ok but there is no single method that is catching lots of fish.

Peg 1 won both days of our match and many struggled for 50lb !

Corn on the 2 plus 2 has not been working for a while, but they have been hammered on it.
To bag on the feeder you have to be accurate, thats why I dont fish it, I just cant drop it down the same hole consistently as its a method I rarely use.
I fished lake 2 yesterday and lake 3 Saturday, 18 fish Saturday on 3 and double that yesteday on 2 but they are a lot smaller. 8mm pellet and bomb did the damage on lake 3 with paste down the edge later.
Lake 2 yesterday I caught down the edge on corn and shallow on the pole with 6mm swim stim pellets.
A few pointers, swim stim groundbait and pellets seem to work for me better than other brands, the green pellets. I also use the green groundbait for paste and it works better than the Maruku paste or any other I have tried. You also need to rotate lines, you cannot it seems hammer them on one line so after a few fish rest your swim and move onto something else. With feeding too you need to keep it dripping in bit at a time.
Bear in mind I am fishing lakes with 6 or 8 anglers on, in a match with everypeg in its going to be a lot harder.
