TF_BlobbyParticipantI’m fishing the festival next week and I’ve never seen the place before so some guidance would be appreciated especially regards the rules.
1. Can we use our own feed pellet or is it fishery pellet only?
2. Pulla Bungs, can we use them or not? The rules appear to say no but some people I’ve spoken to say that this rule has been changed and they are allowed now.
3. Groundbait, allowed or not, any brand or fisherys own?
4. Bait limits, are there any?

TF_PikeyI’m sure the elastic rules have remained unchanged EXCEPT I think you can now use puller bungs.

TF_Dolly67What is the format for the festival – pools money and lakes to be fished? Do we need to bring raffle prizes again – some tight wads brought nothing last year!

TF_DoddyBlobby, not a member myself but my understanding of the rules you ask about are.
Any coarse pellet allowed for feed
Pulla bungs now allowed with same elastic restrictions but sure Roy will tell you if he thinks you are bullying his fish.
Groundbait no problem
Bait limits none that I know of, restrictions on what can be used on rules already posted and again suppose it’s a case of being sensible on quantities otherwise sure someone will shout up.Cant wait now it’s like a week before Christmas as a kid 🙂

TF_BlobbyParticipantCheers chaps, it was the pulla issue that was the rule I wasn’t sure on. The Mallory rules say no but folk in the know say yes. I think your replies have cleared up that issue. The pullas can stay.

TF_geepsterParticipantCheque’s arrived Dave… nice to see the weather perking up although more rain next week.
Tried to get Roy a few times this week with no luck so will try over the weekend and then will post details separately… but expect a 10am draw with fishing 12-6 first day… -

TF_steve rCan’t see you having much luck contacting Roy over the weekend as it’s the first Maryuku Festival today/tomorrow – at least some bait will have gone in before we turn up though !
