        question for you…..

when you are mounting latex bands on a hair rig, which knot do you use?

I used to use a coventional overhand loop and then changed to using a palomar knot but even this does not always hold.

        please advise.

        thanks, cormorant

I use a sensas loop tyre and make a small loop and connect the band loop to loop the make the rest of my hooklength with the knotless knot.

I use a simple overhand loop and tie the band inside. I use a Seymo loop tier to get the loop size consistent. When tying the knotless knot I trap the loop knot under the whippings for extra security.
I tie qwik stops on exactly the same. If I need a longer hair I use a bigger loop or just use a bait stop and standard loop.

I use a 3 or 4 turn grinner knot. It slides down on to the band & does not leave a knot exposed, which you get using a loop.
              Regards Peter.
