This close fought veterans match was won by in form Dave Whiting who caught well in the last two hours. Dave caught using the pole at 8m with paste over hemp and pellets.

The torrential rain and wind reduced the size of the field today, but Jamie Masson showed how to fish in these conditions as he stormed to victory with 156-8-0 of carp caught on meat and corn.

Dave Dare fished chopped worm on the pole and landed carp and bream for second spot.

Jack Hobson was a close third also with carp and bream, but caught on the pole using expander pellet and catmeat.
