Fishing a few carp Puddles in a few weeks and wondering would daiwa sensor be ok for method feeder fishing and what strength to use for carp to early double figures. Im thinking 6 or 8lb but im not sure.

Also would a daiwa Connoisseur Z 11-13 Still Water Feeder fished at 11 foot be Ok for fishing method on Makins Phase 1????

I always used Daiwa sensor for the method witout any problems but have just switched to Guru Drag.

11ft is fine for Makins phase 1 but you prob need a 30gm method.
You may need 13ft if its a strong wind in your face.

length of rod depends on what peg you’re on, some need a 12′ rod, some you can get away with a 10 footer. Line, i’d use what you’re confident in. I use Daiwa Infinity, I think Fin still uses Maxima, some use Daiwa Sensor. Drag Line is sound. find one you like and it’ll be ok.
Don’t set too much store by the method, it isn’t as prolific as it was on Makins, if you do fish it, give it a rest after a couple of fish, do something else for 10 mins, then go back on it.
Bomb and pellet is a serious option at the momemt, but it really does depend where you draw
