Good advice from Nathan, I was seen off several times last time I was there, many pegs are snaggy and the fish find them with ease.
You need a proper rod and 12lb line, hit and hold and drag in as quickly as you can.
Off course as you might expect the snaggy pegs are where the big fish are.Alternatively if you want to fish short you can get 70lb of skimmers. Check out the web site one local has been doing tons fishing short with paste.
One final point there are noted flyers on the point but you have to cast tight to the trees. The fish also follow the wind so move around quite a lot.
