Hoar Park Fishery Catch report – 12 Oct 2010

Fishing has been fantastic this week with some real nice bags of fish gracing the banks. Mark Tudor of West Bromwich taking 8 Carp to 17lb from the top pool, Mark was fishing a small Groundbait feeder across to a far bank reed bed, small pellets on a size 16 hook did the trick.

Steven Harcourt of Coventry also got amongst the Carp with 6 Carp to 11lb and a nice Tench of 4lb and bits for a nice 48lb bag, Steven fished pole to a marginal lilly bed, small pellets fished over a minimal amount of free pellet offerings proving to much for the Carp to resist.

Not to be ignored is the Silver fish angling, amassing a 10lb bag is relatively easy and Roach to over 1lb a caught regularly. Brother and sisters Charlotte (15) & Harry Jackson (9) both fished pole up in the water on maggot to amass 28lb of Roach to just under a 1lb, Rudd, Skimmers and Carp to 2lb.
