Mine went like this………I was stood in the draw at Woodlands listening to a couple of chaps saying ” I wouldnt have put peg 16 Partridge in if i were you its fished terrible all week ” This meant very little to me I dont know Woodlands so I dont know a bad un from a good un. Anyway 30 seconds later we drew and peg 16 Partridge was firmly in my possesion my travelling partner was tickled pink he found it hillarious especially when I had 2 bites and 2 carp in 5 hrs !!!!! how did everyone else go on ? 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

Managed to wangle a 3rd in a section of 15, from what i think a very weak peg!
got everything in, even a bonus fish fowl hooked in the anus!!! why cant i ever convert that well on a flier!!

I fished round 3 of a Winter League and managed a section win and 2nd overall with 142 Roach for 6Kilo 850g fishing maggot over hemp. Report on blog.

Been struggling for a venue im happy with at the moment after my winter league was cancilled this year. Fished Meadow View the other week and while it was not great (crazy rules). I caught a few lumps and did enjoy it (won my section). So, thought i would give it another chance. Phoned Meadow View on Friday to be told that the match on Sunday was fully booked. Just what i needed!

I did think about going to Blundells but im put off by it being a rover. Info needed off you Johnny before i start fishing the Bludells rovers as im not going to go silver fish bashing (live bait costs to much) when peg 35 has carp to be caught fom it. Will i always get on Trio if i turn up there? Whats the score on those Rovers on Blundells, Johnny?

Ended up on Banisters for the first time in a few years. A bad choice and should have known better. It fished very hard and i struggled for 3 small carp and 2 skimmers and packed up early.
