Hard mate,
Fished last friday on a pleasure session, didn’t even have a line bite on the method after 3 hours, so packed up and called it a day. Tried long and short lines all day not even a twitch. Water is still a bit low and we were not allowed to fish between pegs 40 and 74. It was a bit colder than it is now, so it may have picked up a bit over the last week with the warmer weather. The wind was cold and blowing at us from the boathouse, so they could have been tucked in over the boathouse side, which is common in winter/spring. There was only us two on the whole place, which surprised me and may have been a clue that it wasn’t fishing that well.
