Yesterday I bought some Bazzerla floats fom Mal Storeys Shop in Kidderminster (Brilliant shop) . They pack their pole floats in a little clear sellophane pack. I picked up what I thought was a wire stem float, only to find out when I got home that they were carbon stemmed, Painted silver! What purpose does painting a carbon stem silver have ?
Call me cynical but I feel they’ve been disguised, maybe wire stems sell better these days?
Anyone else recently been conned that you feel we should all be aware of ?

No offence pal, but I dont think you should be feeling conned.

          Daft perhaps, but not conned.

well I must admit to not feeling conned on my latest excursion to the tackle shop, I had a great browse and bought some sonubait mini boilees 10mm in Krill (red) tutti fruiti (orange) and white chocolate so at least I will have a few target baits to use if the carp are a bit iffy when using the pellet bomb or wag. I also purchased some pellet O’s 8mm in krill and spicey sausage again as an alternative hookbait, I am going back for some of the shakers to try such as krill etc, so i had a a pleasing experiance and felt far from conned especially as the tackle dealer stated that the shelf life boilees last for ever. What next Pop up’s? As for pole floats I stopped buying them years ago and make all my own which don’t break are super strong including floats for carp and silvers inc bread punch squatt etc,
