        I want a decent 13ft waggler rod for winter fishing using 3lb maxima and catching a mixture of silvers and carp upto about 5lb and i dont want it to cost the earth ?

            check out the fox fx range m8 they do a 13ft but the 12ft lite is nice an light for winter when using 0.10 an 0.12 bottoms. prices range from £120 to £180

                      i’ve just gone through the same exercise and ended up with a shakey mach 3 13ft match.

                      Used it friday afternoon and its beautifull, only bumped 1 skimmer all day and handled the silvers perfectly with backbone left for any bonus that might turn up. crisp and responsive

                      Check out mullarkeys as they have an offer on them at the moment!! (got it for £50!!!)

                                i have a drennan 1m8 going in the for sale section cost £180 when new ,yours for £50 before it goes on ebay.
