info on meremoor fishery please

  Has anyone ever fished at a place called meremoor? I’m on a club match there next saturday and could do with some info on it first as i’ve never been or even heard of it before. Need to know what baits, pegs, how far a walk from car etc if anyone could oblige?

  At alsager mate yeah, not sure what pond though…take it they use various different ones? Ave you got their contact details so i could i could ring them and find out big finn, cheers

  To be honest mate don’t go expecting a well run fishery….Its not.
  
  You can park behind your pegs on most buts its a squeeze. They have 2 ponds, the small one as you drive on is mainley pole with 2/3 pegs round the pack you can chuck a small method/bomb to. its around 4/5 foot alround this pond, I normally have 3 lines, paste around 5m, pellet or meat at 13m and down the edge with meat, simple.
  
  The big pond is around 7/8 foot on the far side and round the back of the island, i would fish very similar on this one but would also fish the pellet/splash wag and 14.5m UITW, You can chuck a method out on most pegs but not all have the island and it can get very messy who has the right.
  
  We have opens every Wednesday and im there this week so will let you know how it fishes. Every match is won with over 100lb,
  
  Sunday just gone we had 134lb, 109lb, 105lb 4 90lbs and quiet a few 60/70s.
