Many years ago I captained the Redditch national team. . We won the second divisional on the Yorkshire Ouse and ure with record points . The following year we fancied doing well on the middle Trent . A Chap in our team Jim Sullivan rather well spoken but a tireless organiser jumps off the section bus , takes a look at the river . Then says amongst some of the best anglers around . I say could anyone tell me ? Which way does the river flow ? 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
What a laugh and guess what we never won either !

Sound right 28yrs young then. The full comment Jim said was excuse me! Iam a member of the Redditch national squad could someone tell me . Which way does the river flow? He was a reasonable angler but I wanted to hide . 😀 😀 😀
