or ….are the places you fish in other parts of the country fishing very poorly at the moment.

In the Notts area quite a few venues are fishing very below par compared to recent years and there’s been some specualtion whether it’s the weather or other factors

my local has fished really really bad for the last 3 weeks!
12lb won last week
7lb second and 5lb 3rd!!
usually need 25-30lb to frame this time of the year!

Fished 4hrs at Broom fisheries Nr Annan on Saturday had skimmers roach and lots of good (2oz)gudgeon for about 12lb+, then my local water on Sunday (Whitehaven) 3hrs never had a bite. First blank in three yrs gutted.

The whole of this season has been unpredictable, good catches one day nothing the next.
