Is it only Fishing,

Placed an order this morning with a well known internet tackle shop and Lo and behold after debiting my card for £800’ish’ they call up and say that most of what I’d ordered is out of stock, Fair enough they did call and let me know but I can’t recall any previous ‘out of stock’ problems with other non fishing sites I’ve ordered from online. Is it only fishing tackle shops,

in there defence the supply from the manufacturers is absolute garbage…….although they should have a site that tells you when things are in stock,another thing if they took the money off your card they have broken the law,money should be taken only when goods are ready for dispatch

I go to the tackle shop, at least you see whether they have it in stock.

it does your head in sometimes eh?? I think what they do is have it on their website and think to themselves if we get an order we will get hold of it, I would rather see an updated ( out of stock ) sign on things then you would get what you want somewhere else

Best thing to do is to ring these people before ordering. As has been said, the delivery by tackle firms can be a problem. They themselves have to await a container/containers from China and they don’t send them half full but wait ’til they are full.

Not ;like asking Fred in the workshop to run another dozen off like the old days.
