TF_wildingukanyone know if it has to be through the shop you bought the pole from, or if you can claim through any sensas dealer?

TF_Simon PConfirmed…. through the shop where the original purchase was made!
On the back of the joker cards are large bar coded stickers showing the shop where pole was purchased and pole type & model number!

TF_toby bI think I, as a retailer but not in the tackle trade, would be a bit peeved if people bought stuff from another shop/Internet and then brought the faulty parts back to me to sort, using my time and resources to rectify.
Had an instant a few years ago when a bloke went to screwfix to buy bosch power tools and then wanted to return them to me for warranty repair work!!!
Not on in my opinion. -

Not on in my opinion. What does it matter if they got it from you or not?? At the end of the day its whats called customer service and it only takes a phone call,NOT realy hard work is it??

TF_toby bNo mate thats the thing its not just a phone call, its ordering the part then getting the credit on your account because it hasnt been processed , then chasing the credit etc, etc. all paperwork and time, all for something that you havnt made a bean out of in the first place.
People shop around for the best price on things, that is human nature and I do it myself however, I get my nearest stockist/dealer for that particular item to give me a price, if that price is there or there abouts then I will buy it from them because if there is a problem then I can deal locally, if I did decide to buy elsewhere for whatever reason be it price or service I would not dream of taking to a dealer that i didnt want to deal with originally to rectify any problems.

A buddy of mine got his 13m section last month after waiting from last October for a replacement. He was told there was a shortage of carbon!!!!
I waited 3 hours for a Maver 501 no 6 section when I broke mine at Makins last September. Thank you Maver

TF_wildingukThanks for the replies, will ask my local and see what he says. I buy everything else from him, but he don’t do credit for poles or I’d have had it off him in the first place. Got two months to sort out. Can post back to fosters, but best part of 15 quid postage might as well spend extra 5 to 10 quid on petrol and make sure it gets there myself…is a whole load less hassle.
Is a 774 section the number 7, has a small crack half way along. Doesn’t affect fishing with it, but might as well use the joker card afterall.
