        BAD NEWS. I was informed today by Gary Pook of Daiwa Dorking that he had all of his kit stolen on Monday evening this week. As a favour to Gary I said I would post on here for him to warn other anglers in the Reading area and also warn people that his kit might be for sale. They completely cleaned him out of every single peice of kit from his garage. The only kit they left behind in this theft was his printed Dorking clothing which obviously was not a coincidence. If any of you can forward this onto to other match angling forums that would be a great help. I have listed below some stand out items that are very prominent;

        DAP160 16m Pole ( new silver Airity )
        TAP160 16m Pole ( old black Airity )
        WAT160 16m pole ( Whisker All Terrain )
        25 x Mixed Top Kits
        8 x No 4 sections
        TAIR2508 Reel
        TDX3012D Reel
        SM213W Waggler rods x 2
        New Daiwa Clothing in size XL ( B&B, JKT & Soft Shell top )
        Also a continental Sensas landing net head that is not available in the UK, has a black frame and a large type mesh that is illegal to use in the UK. These items are only a small amount of the stuff that was stolen and it is a shocking incident that has completely cleaned out an angler of his lifetimes collection of kit.

        As you can imagine Gary is absolutely devastated and has a serious job of trying to get some kit together and also deal with possible problems with his insurance cover. Any information on this theft can you please PM me or contact Gary.

                  Nice knowing that more then likely it was a fellow angler who nicked your gear. Sadly the truth is that even if the scum are caught red handed very little will be done to them by the soft middle class liberal cretins who are supposed to sit in judgement. Dare not have a go yourself or the criminals will cry ‘Human Rights’ and you’ll be banged up for sticking up for protecting your own property because no one else will. One of my mates was turned over recently and lost all of his gear good response from the Fuzz ‘Your insured mate so here is your crime number’,

                    Sorry about the loss of tackle but dont blame the Police , blame the people who voted this govenment in.

                      mauler7, no-one voted for the current government: it is a coalition.

                      Condolences to the unfortunate sole who has had his gear nicked – it must be heartbreaking.

                          Coalition, lol, do you not think the tories pull all the strings. Labour would not have decimated the Police Service and maybe crimes would be investigated more throughly.

                            Absolutley gutted for Gary, it’s always terrible hearing anglers having their gear stolen. I really hope you get kitted out again soon.

                            A freind of mine had all his kit taken on 31st Dec 2011 from Thatcham area (only a short distance from reading), so these scum-bags are on the prowl in this area…
