          Depths

          Speci – between 6 and 12ft @ 13m. 4 to 6ft at 6m.
Match – between 5 and 8ft @ 13m (on the burr bank). Upto 3ft on cafe bank @13m.
Arena – Upto 3ft in margins. Upto 10ft at 13m.

Fished the speci on Tuesdsay (challet bank peg 67)
Fished worm and caster at 13m over groundbait. Lots of skimmers to 3lb caught. Fished a 6m line on meat (8mm). Fished this line later on. Big skimmers and carp caught here.

Pellet would probably do just as well. I only fished worm as I had loads left from the weekend.

Also don’t forget pellet wag and bomb rod. Feed 8mm pellets on the wag and fish the straight lead on the same line. Use 8mm pellet as hookbaits for both.

Cheers Steve would you still feed ground bait if i was to fish the pellet on the pole or pellet on its own

I have fed groundbait in the past on the 13m line when fishing pellet. Usually 4 to 6 balls of a fishmeal based groundbait at the start. Then feeding 4mm soaked pellets over the top. Pellets fed by cup not sprinkle pot.

This is for the speci lake. I don’t really fish the others.
