hi im just changing my reel lines for the forthcoming w/a festivals and i was thinking on how much line should i change. in my opinion should you change the feeder/method feeder line with 100m of line in what ever dia you prefer but with the float line would you change just 50m of line. i was just thinking about this as if you was catching well on the wag you would change it after every session also you wouldnt be chucking the wag out that far anyway (only as far as you can comfortly catapult pellets out) i use 3lb maxi.
come on guys give your veiws on this please

Bulk spools of line are so cheap, apart from Maxima, set all your spools up with backing and approx.100m of your chosen line. Then you can change it as often as you like. To change it after every session is daft imo no matter how much stick it gets. However to use Maxima is daft, if you like Maxima then try Daiwa Sensor 1800m for £8. At that price you could change it mid match if you wanted. Try Shimano Technium Match/Bolo if you want to use a modern line, you won’t be dissapointed.

If you put on 100m of line then you can always turn it round to use the unused line nearest the middle, if you have a spare spool or find a field to run out the line full length like I have
