does main line diameter make a difference in summer im going up to 18 from a 16 is it a confidence thing :confused:

Lee Taylor had one of his best seasons only fishing with Preston Powerline 0.19 and that is like rope! lol

I believe he fished that in the Winter too btw.

Fishing is a confidence thing, for the most part. If you aren’t catching on a 0.10 then a switch to 0.19 certainly isn’t likely to put fish in the bag in my experience.

I think it is a confidence thing but i also feel that lighter lines will also get you more bites and put more fish in ur net. especialy in winter in summer doesnt matter so much but still feel that even in summer lighter lines fool the big wary fish were heavy lines might not.
