TF_andy cranes mateParticipantIs it just me or does anyone else think its excessive to be using 3 rods when theres that many fish having a go?
-
21/10/2010 at 7:03 pm #119553
TF_Nigel.They had had 37 when i left an hour ago. Average 10lb, biggest 18,5lb.
3 rods, yes but they want to catch e few, thats the idea.~clapYes, they are on the back lawn, but i had run a hard wire and extension lead down to them, so it made sense to do it from there.
They are going to reel in over night, they will be knackered otherwise!

TF_James_HNever seen or come across anything like this before, brilliant idea. Gutted I’ve only just come across it, unfortunately its now too dark to watch.
Surprised they’re catching big carp with the temperature drop over last few days.
I might pop down tomorrow for a look. Do they mind having people behind them Nige?

basherParticipantDynamite baits take note !!! this would make fasinating viewing to follow one of their top anglers through a five hour match, and i pressume pretty easy to set up.

TF_Nigel.hey hey hey Andy, we haven’t even finished yet and you nicking the idea, lol.
He is on 117 fish. He wishes he had fished though the night last night, and tried to go for ton, 224 fish over the 48 hours. I think that would take too much stamina, they are having to reel in to get some food at the moment!

Kev & “Edge” are piling in just boilies in mainly larger sizes and catching on pop-ups primarily (large sizes). If they fished with smaller baits they would be having multiple simultaneous takes each. Average stamp of fish they are catching s low doubles & Kev had a low-mid 20 earlier this afternoon.
“Edge” caught one fish earlier on and after releasing it, within a couple of minutes he had the SAME fish on the bank again on a different rod, hooked fair & squarely in the bottom lip!!! -

TF_Nigel.haha, i didnt know he had the same one again Darren!
They are fishing on there own, they have the lake to themselves, there are 2 matches tomorrow but has been almost empty, and with constant feeding, have all the fish in front of them queing up to get on the webcam!~clap -

TF_James_HSpent a couple of hours with them tonight, real top guys!
Seen some interesting things such as rigs and baits, walked away having a learnt more in 2hrs with them than I have done in any of my recent matches.
The catch rate had slowed a little, but they had a few 6-10lb’ers and a prestine 18lb+ linear.
Nice to meet you guys, thanks for the boilies & gb.
James.
