        POOL REPORTS FOR THE WEEK ENDING 23rd September 2012

        With the temperature dropping at night now, the fish are still feeding well with pleasure anglers reporting excellent catches including f1’s, common carp, mirrors, barbel, roach and skimmers.

        TBF Opens and matches this week have been won with bags in excess of 127lbs.

        Top Pool
        Pellet to the islands at 6m for f1’s, ide, roach & skimmers.
        Meat and corn over hemp down the inner margins at 3m is now starting to produce the better stamp of f1’s.
        Maggot shallow through slop and on the deck has been producing large bags of silvers.
        Paste down edges over hemp for f1’s, producing match-winning weights.

        Bottom Pool
        Pellet at 6m to 8m has been producing f1’s and silverfish.
        Paste over hemp down the inner margins has reported catches of large mirrors and commons up to 16lb.

        House Pool
        Method feeder to the island using dead white maggot in a Bagem Super Skimmer Dark ground bait has been tempting large mirrors and commons up to 12lbs.
        Pellet at 6m or 8m down on the deck for mixed bags of f1’s, bream, roach and carp.
        Meat down the edges over hemp is now producing a larger stamp of f1 carp.
        Paste and corn over hemp down the edges, is now starting to produce good bags of fish.

        Extension pool
        Pellet at 6m and 8m down the track producing good bags of f1’s, roach and perch.
        4mm cubes of meat through a Bagem Machins method mix ground bait down the inner margins has been producing good bags of f1’s, roach and skimmers.
        Paste over hemp on the top 2 down the edges has been producing large f1’s, mirrors and commons.

        New Pool
        Bronze maggot shallow @ 6m has been producing large bags of f1’s roach & skimmers.
        Corn, paste & meat over hemp down the edges has seen large bags of f1’s & mirrors being caught by both match and pleasure anglers.

        Canal Pool
        In general pellet and maggot are the best baits at 6-8m and across to the island.
        Mirrors and Commons are feeding and pleasure anglers are reporting f1’s up to 3lb
        Good bags of silvers are being caught.
        Anglers’ reporting large bags of mirrors and f1’s being caught using paste, meat and corn down the edges.

        Club Pool
        Corn and meat at 6m and down the edges producing f1’s, mirrors and carp.
        Pleasure anglers have had good bags fishing pellet and maggot of large bream, roach and f1’s at 6m.
        Paste on the top 2 down edges producing has been producing good bags of f1’s, mirrors and commons.

        Jenny’s Pool
        Pellet or maggot to the island or at 6-8m down the track has been producing good bags of f1’s, silvers and mirrors.
        The fish have moved into the inner margins where maggot has been working well with good bags of f1’s & stockies being caught.
        Corn over micro pellet has been producing large f1’s.
        Paste over hemp at 4m and down the edges is now starting to produce good bags of f1’s, mirrors and commons.

        High Pool
        4mm pellet over hard pellet with constant feeding at 4m out on the shelf is producing good bags of stockies from 6oz to 2.5lb.
        Pellet and paste down the margins late on has been producing the larger mirrors and commons between 6lb to 14lb.
        Maggot at 4-6m has been producing good bags of stockies, f1’s and mirrors and commons.
