Hi all

Myself and a couple of mates are on the MF subscribers this Thursday. Can anyone kindly give an overview as to how it is fishing – I know all three phases are in and this makes it tricky but any help gratefully received!

cant find much out myself so where going tmoz,not been for years.3 of us going so we can try different things

Allegedly if you are not drawn on phase one you are fishing for a section win.
Some of us will feast and the majority will be watching it happen. It’s apparantly fishing hard and only the noted flyers are returning any big weights. With 150 on it I fully expect it to be rock.

I will be going for the day out and will hope to draw well, it will more or less be won at the drawbag particularly if a good peg is taken by a venue regular. I haven’t fished there in a long time so it will be all virgin territory, mind if you read and watch enough Finn articles and videos it’s like you’ve never been away :rolleyes:

Hi, i have fished makins 3 times in the past week Phase 1 lake 2 and phase 3 Derwent. The only real advice i can offer is not to neglect the margins early around 12 noon as i have then gone on to catch steady all afternoon.
