  Well done Steve. You fished a brilliant match on paddock today. Me and Fin both struggled down our end of paddock!! It was tough going!

  Good weight, fished paddock last year the day before the EPFC, lovely little lake with features on each peg, loads of skimmers if i remember and gud carp in margins.
  
  Pity we dont have many commercials like makins here, what a variety of lakes.

  153lb 1st, Tony’s caught on method and wag
  145lb 2nd lizard
  132lb 3rd Reptile
  129lb 4th lake 2
  110lb 5th Lizard.

  Maybe ppl will realise how good makins is now .Its that varied it teaches you a lot of different methods, dont get me wrong tho it can be hard in winter but much the same as anywhere else.Also i predicted lizard would feature in the high weights!!!

  Parts of lake 2 fished well other parts not.I drew 2 b3 .flyer I was told but had 42lb. Left side of me had 1 fish. 2 pegs to my right blanked. Fish ready for spawning. Well done tony.

  I drew on severn the organisers had tried to give people plenty of room (good idea) but because the fish were just cruising about on top they sat in the empty pegs between the anglers which made them bl***y hard to catch. I had 3 empty pegs to my right and 4 to my left and it was black with fish between myself and the anglers either side of me but hay ho it was better than work and we took 4 points off the gooners this season haha
