Take lots of corn (up to 6 tins) and keep feeding.

I take it you are fishing Foundation Lake. I fished it on saturday, peg 15. I caught on the pole at 7 metres in the morning on pumped expanders & paste.
In the afternoon I caught 62 carp on the pellet waggler using 8mm hard pellet feeding hemp/caster/maggot & pellet.
The other 3 lads caught 220 fish between them fishing down the edge, (peg 12, & 2 others in the 30’s) with bigger fish being taken on BIG bunches of red maggots. They fed groundbait/hemp/pellet.
We virtually had the lake to ourselves & the fish were feeding all day.
This catch approximates to in excess of 1000lbs!!
                  Regards Peter.

most probable you are fishing the big lake in the track if you are down for mallory park. i have match fished this lake as much as anyone over the last few years. it is a large lake of around 11 acres there are 24 permanent pegs with room for more on the paddock bank. peg one is agianst the island and coming back to peg 6 at the paddock end. there is then a grass bank along the race paddock peg 7 is the first permanent peg on the paddock , pit entrance the pegs then run along the pit straight up to peg 20 in the corner end peg against Gerrards bend. there are then four pegs on the far side of gerrards up to the island peg 24. lake is reasonable shallow with 3 to 4 feet maximumum at pole range. when we renovated the lake two years ago with some new pegging we had the digger pull out a deeper trench around the edges this is where you can catch lots of fish, so you are needeing a margin and 4 mtrs line with a bait you can fish quickly, corn or pellet. fish differ greatly in size from 1lb through to 10 lbs the small ones are a bit manic. the lake drops off deeper at around 40 mtrs wher you can catch on the feeder. the island pegs have a good chuck to the island corner at around 20- 30 mtrs. this is a big lake and can be a bit moody but i have had match weights aproaching 300 lbs. do not fish too far out start close and if it is difficult move out. you usually mugg a few of the big fish close early on in the match. even in the shallowest water. fliers are 20, 1 , 24 and 6, 7, 8, 9. but can be won from anywhere. if there are less than 24 of you going space the pegs. can advise if needed. Kev.
