I had a second look at this at EFFTEX last week and again I was really impressed with it. I have to say that I think Mike Robinson really has brought a lot to the table in terms of innovation for MAP – a brand that could have gone backwards but is doing the opposite.

I agree Geeps. A lot of their stuff was a bit naff a few years back, now I would rate them as one of the top players.

Looks good but i would’nt want to be laying it down and unfolding it in the wintertime, you know how boggy and muddy some venues get

It looks the answer, currently I am lugging a hardcase holdall for my made up feeder rods x 2 and a large rod holdall for my pole and spare sections, with 7 Kilo of GB, 1 Kilo of worms, two keepnets , a barrow/platform, waders, GB buckets, casters ,hemp, pole roller etc etc things can go all tangly and awkard on a long walk over rough terraine to my peg!

I would have liked to have seen the presenter with the holdall on his back to gauge the true extent of the product, it does look large, but must be easier than two holdalls surely?

I’ve checked out the carryall as it looks ideal for my requirements.

Shop would not sell to me though as MAP have apparantly recalled some of the carryalls as the strap has been connected to the wrong place on the carryall.

Looking forward to seeing the replaced version though. Even though it was a similar size to my Mosella carryall I think I could potentially get more in it as it is better organised if you know what I mean.
