whats your thoughts lads on mixing it the night before, ive mixed it the night before & ran out & mixed on the day still caught on it, I know with ground bait if you want an inert mix its best the night before but does it matter with method mixes?~think

For me, I mix it on the bank, the quantity of water I use pretty much kills any action it would have in anycase. I usually add enough water for it to go ‘cakey’ allow it to soak and then riddle a few times. This gives a damp mix with little activity which breaks down quickly.

Im using Marukyu 161 which is easy to mix on the bank so you dont need to worry about it untill you draw your peg, it also means you dont waste your mix when you dont draw a peg to use it on.

i mix it on the bank because i like to use lake water not tap water i just use swim stim have done sinve it came out
